The Village of South River is requesting proposals from local and regional solid waste management companies to provide collection, transfer and disposal of garbage and recyclables for the Village.

The proposal must include curbside collection services for residential and commercial waste, but is not limited to same.

This proposal would involve all of the current services provided; weekly curbside collection of waste, the collection of weekly recycling (alternating fibres and containers), large item collection and the disposal of waste and processing of recyclables at an appropriate landfill or facility.

The proposal may include any other services deemed valuable. Where such additional services are proposed, the costs associated should be clearly outlined and defined so as to evaluate each component individually.
