Assessment Appraiser position under the supervision of a Senior Assessment Appraiser, conducting property appraisals for assessment purposes in accordance with Provincial Statutes and Municipal By-Laws. Two temporary full-time positions available for approximately 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
Assess property values by conducting inspections and applying property attributes and valuation models
Review and analyze sold properties and process requests for information
Develop valuation parameters, table values, models and rates using statistical data
Prepare and maintain field records including sketches, diagrams and relevant data
Respond to public inquiries regarding assessed property values and conduct analysis
Qualifications
Graduation from recognized post-secondary real property assessment program (UBC or Lakeland College preferred)
Possession of License (LAAS) through Saskatchewan Assessment Appraisers Association
Post-secondary coursework in report writing or demonstrated report writing ability
Five years progressively complex experience in assessment appraisal or related field
Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence and current safe driving record abstract from SGI
