The Business Analyst administers and improves the Public Works work order management system, supporting maintenance, asset management, and service delivery. The role manages system configuration, data quality, reporting, and provides training and technical support to users across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, configure, and improve the Public Works work order management system and related operational applications
Develop and maintain work order system modules, including tasks, schedules, preventive maintenance plans, and user access
Maintain quality, integrity, and consistency of work order and asset data through review and process documentation
Develop operational reports, dashboards, and performance indicators to support management decision-making and County reporting
Provide functional and technical support to system users, including training and user acceptance testing for new modules and enhancements
Qualifications
Diploma in GIS, Business, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized post-secondary institution
Minimum 3 years progressively responsible experience in business analysis, systems administration, work order management, asset management, GIS, or related area
Knowledge of work order management, maintenance management, asset management, and operational business processes
Knowledge of GIS software including ESRI ArcGIS products
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and strong analytical and communication skills
