About this job

Co-op student position supporting development, maintenance, testing, and improvement of WordPress websites and digital platforms. Student will work under guidance of experienced team members on WordPress configuration, content management, troubleshooting, and web development activities in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day WordPress website maintenance and support
  • Create and update WordPress pages, templates, themes, and plugins
  • Support front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Assist with website testing, troubleshooting, and bug identification
  • Assist with accessibility testing and remediation including WCAG requirements

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in University or College program in Computer Science, Software Development, Web Development, Information Technology, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development concepts
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
