Founded in Moncton in 2003 as Axiom Strategic Consultants, our firm embarked on a mission to provide expert advisory services, initially focusing on the private sector. Aspiring to expand, we targeted economic development, strategic planning, and governmental affairs for public and non-profit clients. This led us to a period of strategic refinement from 2009-2023, expanding capabilities and culminating in November 2023 rebranding signaling a renewed commitment to comprehensive, customized municipal consulting, including:

Economic Development Strategies: We develop plans driving local growth and employment opportunities to foster robust economies.

Governance and Policy Formulation: Our experts craft governance structures, policies, and instruments aligning with strategic visions.

Sustainable Housing Solutions: We address pressing housing challenges through affordable, tailored strategies.

Government Relations: We assist in securing financing and partnerships by navigating complex government landscapes.

Strategic Communications: Our plans enhance municipality-resident relationships through transparency and trust.

Compliance and Efficiency Guidance: We provide regulatory compliance and policy optimization advice for operational excellence.

Leadership Training: Our governance training programs equip officials with best practices for effective decision-making.

We deliver practical, innovative solutions with community values for positive change and economic resilience.

Success Story:

With over 30 years of experience spanning the private and public sectors, Eric Doiron has played a pivotal role in shaping the economic landscape of Canada's North. His 13-year tenure with the Government of Nunavut endowed him with profound insights into community and economic development. As Manager of Business Development and Strategic Planning, Eric spearheaded the creation of plans that resonated with the economic aspirations of Inuit communities. In his role as Director of Policy and Strategic Planning for the Nunavut Housing Corporation, Eric was instrumental in securing over $100 million in federal funding for housing programs benefiting Inuit communities. He co-designed the landmark Canada-Nunavut Housing Benefit, directly assisting over 670 low-income households. Eric's leadership in research studies and policy formulation ensured Inuit perspectives were integrated. Previously, as VP of Business Operations with Kodiac Construction, Eric optimized costs and delivered multi-million dollar projects. He also founded the strategic consultancy Axiom in 2003, advising startups and corporations. With his deep familiarity with Atlantic Canada's rural communities, Eric brings localized insights to Axiom. His wealth of experience in government and business enables Axiom to introduce innovative yet practical solutions for economic growth and strategic development. Eric is dedicated to empowering local workforces and respecting the unique cultures of the regions he serves.
I wholeheartedly recommend Eric Doiron for any role or project that requires an expert understanding of policy, strategic planning, and a genuine commitment to community development.
