Success Story:

McSweeney & Associates worked collaboratively with residents and local industry leaders to create a true comprehensive community strategy – “Inspiring Innisfil 2020”. The community had been experiencing significant growth in a short period of time and was struggling to balance their quality of life with the demands of an expanding population. The strategy recommended actions to better manage the Town’s inevitable growth while ensuring the quality of life in the area remained intact, if not enhanced. This project demonstrated our ability to manage a large complex multi-disciplinary project, with multiple consultants, providing a seamless integrated approach from the stakeholder point of view. Innisfil was recognized in April 2013 as one of North America’s “coolest communities” at the “Transforming Local Government” (TLG) Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. The “Alliance for Innovation” recognized Innisfil for successfully capturing their town’s hopes and dreams for the future, in the community strategic plan “Inspiring Innisfil 2020”.
