The Municipality of Powassan wishes to retain the services of a qualified structural engineer to conduct an invasive structural analysis on the Trout Creek Community Centre.

The proponent must:
a) Conduct intrusive testing at a representative interior and exterior column to determine the below-grade conditions of the structure.
b) Conduct a localized structural analysis under design loads of the following:
a. Interior and exterior wood columns at the arena
b. Pad footing sizes for interior and exterior columns at the arena
c. Floor framing support at the enclosed exit ramp at the west side of the lobby
d. Roof joist and beam framing at the northwest entrance canopy
e. Roof joist and beam framing at the west arena exit canopy
c) Provide a report summarizing the findings of the subgrade investigation and localized analysis.
d) Provide recommendations for the remediation of any concerns identified during the subgrade investigation and localized analysis.
e) Provide Class D estimates of the recommended remedial work as identified.
f) Provide final comments, recommendations, and limitations.
