The Municipality is looking to retain the services of a professional, experienced, and qualified pay equity and market evaluation consultant to provide Pay Equity and Compensation Review Services for the Municipality and the Tweed Public Library Board (the “Service/Project”).
The Municipality of Tweed last completed a full pay equity review in 2006, with a pay equity plan effective January 1, 2007 that has not been updated since. The job evaluation tool provided during this process has been utilized to this date. An organizational review of positions and duties was started in 2014, resulting in some changes, and further changes occurred upon the retirement of the CAO/Clerk-Treasurer and the appointment of a CAO/Treasurer separate from the Clerk, in late 2019. All job descriptions were reviewed and updated during 2023, and are not considered necessary to be reviewed as part of this project.
