The Municipality of Trent Lakes is developing a long-term plan for municipal facilities, called the Strategic Facilities Master Plan. This is the first comprehensive study of all of the municipality’s major facilities, such as town hall, fire stations, community halls, public works depots, garbage transfer stations and other public buildings. Just as we plan for population growth through our Official Plan, or major construction efforts through our Capital & Asset Management Plans, facilities planning allows us to meet our responsibility to ensure the long-term provisions of municipal services.
